2026 Buckeye Auditions

The Buckeye Audition is OMTA's competition for our most outstanding students.  Each of OMTA's eight districts holds a preliminary competition in March, April or May.  The winner from each district will compete in the statewide final competition.  

Teachers ​may only enter students who are currently studying with them and that have studied the performance medium of the audition with the entering teacher a minimum of six (6) months of the nine (9) months preceding the day of the district auditions.​

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 7th, 2026.

Fees: 

Elementary (Ages 9 - 11) $70.00: Members | $105.00: Non-Members

Junior (Ages 12 - 14) $90.00: Members | $135.00: Non-Members

Senior (Ages 15 - 18) $110.00: Members | $165.00: Non-Members
