Daniel Shapiro Virtual Recital, October 30th, 7:30PM
NEOMTA is excited and honored to announce an online recital by Dr. Daniel Shapiro on October 30 at 7:30PM in celebration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven. A member of NEOMTA and piano faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Shapiro will present the revolutionary sonatas of Opus 31, as well as Opus 13, the "Pathetique."
Dr. Shapiro's playing has been hailed for its natural and penetrating qualities, as well as its instantly recognizable warmth. A noted interpreter of Schubert, Brahms, and Beethoven, Shapiro is a winner of the William Kapell International Competition and is sought worldwide as a dedicated and thoughtful pedagogue who helps students attain a deep understanding of the works they study.
